Qual o significado de Arameu na Bíblia?

Um Arameu é a forma hebraica da palavra grega, sírio. Betuel, o arameu, seria, Betuel, o sírio. Veremos isso melhor em Gn 25.20; 28.25. Labão, o arameu Gn 31.20,24. O termo Arowmiy’ ארומי, palavra hebraica para Arameu pode indicar ao mesmo tempo: "arameu, sírio (Ketib), edomita".
